Azog - San Diego Comic Con 2013

(03)

Rare LEGO® Item Portfolio: San Diego Comic-Con Azog minifigure

This Lord Of the Rings Minifigure was released in exclusive packaging to certain attendees at San Diego Comic Con in 2013. While numerous people enter the draw to receive these figures, the low production run of only 100 copies means that this entry is far short of a guarantee. The figure, while not exclusive, still demands a high price tag due to the low quantity.

Chrome Gold C-3PO (Australia Exclusive)

(04)

Rare lego gold C-3po in white packaging

Unlike the standard Chrome C-3PO that was inserted in random sets, this Australian version was given to Australia Fan Club members who gave the most creative answer to this question: "Why is my C-3PO Gold?". This was due to a government restriction in Australia which prohibited the "gambling"-esque approach to the original release. This far smaller quantity compared to the standard version (100 to 10,000) , results in a 3-4x price increase.
